Back in June I got asked to take part in a fashion shoot for a local magazine that features local artists from across New Brunswick.
The shoots consisted of several models, hair/MU team, a very talented photographer and other designers that I've previously met or have been following on social media for some time now. It was great to network with everyone.
My model was Jennie Fairweather of NWH Modeling in Saint John. During the shoot I had mentioned to her of the show I had coming up in September for Head2Toe event, and she was interested in taking part.

For the release of the magazine, CreatedHere, which was created by Marie-Hélène Morell, a evening of fashion was being put together. The fashion show was called Transition, and all money raised from the evening went to women in transition housing.
They even sold out! Even with extra tickets sold for standing guests.
It was held at Picaroons Roundhouse in Fredericton, hosted by Dee Wilkie (Silkie).
For this event I put out a model call, and had models who came from Saint John & Moncton to take part in the event. As well as local Fredericton models. I featured pieces from AFW as well as a new design that was my finale show-stopper. A new corset/dress modeled by Cindy Therrien.

And the grand finale walk of all designers here.
I enjoyed myself so much that evening that I even purchased a beautiful pastel caftan from another local designer, Kayleigh Saad, and hand dyed by Dee Wilkie. It is a beautiful dream to wear! I felt magical in it, and can't wait to wear it in Japan 2018!
